Suffolk RoSPA Advanced Motorcyclists
Welcome to the motorcycle-only RoSPA group in Suffolk
“Safer, Smoother, Quicker”
Our aim at Suffolk RoSPA Advanced Motorcyclists is to provide an enjoyable environment to learn the fundamentals of advanced motorcycling. We believe that learning should be a fun, ongoing experience and that safety is not about riding slowly but using speed appropriately.
We are open to and encourage riders of all ages whether your bike is a Fireblade, a GS or a Harley. In addition to Suffolk we cover North Essex, South Norfolk and East Cambridgeshire.
We aim to improve your margin of safety, increase your enjoyment of riding through the system of advanced motorcycling and hopefully this will result in you taking the RoSPA Advanced Motorcycle Test. To achieve this you will receive one-to-one tuition and have access to theory nights. Social and training rides organised by the club will help you along the way as well as allowing you to meet other like minded motorcyclists.
The club meets monthly and these meetings will normally have a guest speaker from within the motorcycle industry although often the summer meets will be ride outs. Members of the group organise holidays and weekends away open to the group.
RoSPA is the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents, a charity dedicated to reducing accidents in the home, on the road, at work, in public, etc. Wherever you are and whatever you do, there are volunteers striving to make you safer.
RoADAR is the RoSPA Advances Drivers & Riders, dedicated to making the roads a safer place by improving the standard of driving and riding. The RoSPA Advanced test pass at Gold level is widely acclaimed as the highest level of driving or riding a non-professional can attain. The test grading of Bronze, Silver and Gold gives drivers and riders the goal of improving to achieve the highest level.
